Pattern Detection

Our sweep methodology includes automated pattern detection:

  • Geographic clustering: 2+ deaths in same state triggers alert
  • Temporal clustering: 3+ violent incidents in same region within 7 days
  • Territory incidents: Any incident in territories triggers immediate investigation (historically under-reported)
  • New facilities: Deaths at facilities not previously in our database
  • Repeat offenders: Facilities with multiple deaths in rolling 90-day window
