Federal Immigration Enforcement Violence Across All 50 States + 5 Territories


Methodology

We conduct a systematic 50-state geographic sweep every week, searching for ICE/CBP violence incidents across all 50 U.S. states and 5 territories (Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam, American Samoa, Northern Mariana Islands).

No geographic blind spots. No population excluded.


Incident Priority Levels

Priority Type Examples
P1 — CRITICAL Deaths Shootings, custody deaths, medical neglect fatalities
P2 — HIGH Non-fatal violence Shootings (survived), chemical weapons, vehicle assaults, severe injuries
P3 — MONITOR Operations Major raids, mass arrests, community operations, staging areas

Kyle Wagner Arrest — Minneapolis, MN (Feb 5)

Priority: P2 — Activist arrested for social media speech

Minneapolis activist arrested by HSI (Homeland Security Investigations) at his home in a pre-dawn raid. Charged with "cyberstalking" and "threatening communications" for anti-ICE social media posts.

Pattern: Speech criminalization. Test case for broader crackdown on anti-ICE activism.

Federal agents used tear gas against protesters in Portland, Oregon during immigration enforcement confrontation. This is the first confirmed use of chemical weapons against civilians in immigration enforcement operations in 2026.

Alex Pretti Shooting — Minneapolis, MN (Jan 24)

Priority: P1 — Fatal shooting by federal agents

Renee Good Shooting — Minneapolis, MN (Jan 7)

Priority: P1 — Fatal shooting by federal agents

Six Detention Deaths — Multiple States (Jan 3-14)

Priority: P1 — Custody deaths
