🐆 Leopards Ate My Face¶
The Pattern
"I never thought leopards would eat MY face," sobs person who voted for the Leopards Eating People's Faces Party.
What Is This Section?¶
This section documents people who actively supported the deportation machine — and then got eaten by it.
These are not victims in the traditional sense. They voted for the policies, cheered for the candidates, and believed the promises that enforcement would only target "the worst of the worst" or "criminals, not people like me." When the machine they helped build turned on them, they expressed shock.
We document their stories not to mock their suffering — every human matters, even those who voted for cruelty — but because their cases prove what the data already shows:
The Machine Doesn't Distinguish
The deportation machine was never designed to target only "criminals" or "illegals." It was designed to target people who look a certain way, speak a certain language, or have a certain last name. The people in this section learned that the hard way.
Cases Documented¶
| Person | Location | What Happened | Who They Voted For |
|---|---|---|---|
| Joe Ceballos | Coldwater, Kansas | Republican mayor, 50+ years in US, facing deportation and felony voter fraud charges | Trump (3x), Kobach (4x) |
| Bradley Bartell & Camila Muñoz | Wisconsin | Wife detained returning from honeymoon in Puerto Rico; deported to Peru | Trump |
| Jensy Machado | Manassas, Virginia | U.S. citizen detained at gunpoint by ICE; agents smiled when he said he was American | Trump |
The Common Thread¶
Every person in this section shares the same arc:
- Believed the promise. "He's going after criminals, not people like me."
- Voted for it. Often multiple times.
- Got caught in the machine. Detained, charged, deported, or threatened.
- Expressed shock. "This is unfair." "I always loved Trump." "We're all brainwashed."
- The system didn't care. Their votes, their loyalty, their years of service — none of it mattered.
This is what happens when you build a machine that runs on dehumanization. It doesn't check your voter registration before it eats you.
Why This Matters¶
These cases demolish the administration's core narrative:
- "We only target criminals" → Joe Ceballos's worst offense was a $0 fishing license. Camila Muñoz had a W-2 job and paid taxes.
- "We don't target citizens" → Jensy Machado is a naturalized citizen. Agents smiled when he said so.
- "The system works" → A county clerk told Ceballos he could vote in 1991. He voted in every election for 34 years. No one flagged it until Kobach needed a headline.
When the machine eats its own supporters, it proves the machine was never about justice. It was about power.
Every. Human. Matters. Even the ones who didn't think so.
