Privacy Policy¶
Last updated: February 10, 2026
The Short Version¶
We don't track you. We don't want to know who you are. We don't use cookies, analytics, fingerprinting, or any other surveillance technology on this site or our YouTube channel. Period.
What We Collect¶
Nothing. We do not collect, store, process, or transmit any personal data from visitors to this site or viewers of our YouTube content.
- No cookies
- No analytics
- No tracking pixels
- No fingerprinting
- No user accounts
- No email collection
- No comment tracking
- No IP logging by us
Third-Party Services¶
Our content is hosted on and distributed through third-party platforms that have their own data practices:
- Codeberg Pages hosts this website. See Codeberg's privacy policy.
- YouTube hosts our video content. See Google's privacy policy. YouTube collects data from viewers per their own policies. We have no access to individual viewer data and do not want it.
- Google APIs are used to publish content to YouTube programmatically. We access only our own account data (uploading videos, managing our channel). We do not access any other user's Google data.
We cannot control what these platforms collect. We chose platforms with the strongest privacy practices available for our needs, but we encourage you to use privacy tools (ad blockers, VPNs, Tor) when browsing any website.
Google API Services¶
This project uses Google API Services (YouTube Data API, Gmail API) solely for publishing content to our own accounts. In accordance with the Google API Services User Data Policy:
- We access only our own Google account data
- We do not access, collect, or store any third-party user data via Google APIs
- No Google user data is shared with third parties
- No Google user data is used for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond publishing our own content
- Our use of Google API Services is limited to content publishing and account management
Our Principles¶
We document human rights abuses. The people who visit this site may be at risk. We take that seriously.
- We will never add tracking to this site
- We will never monetize visitor data (we have none)
- We will never require accounts or logins to access our content
- We will never gate content behind data collection
- All our published content is public domain (CC0)
Data About Subjects¶
Our investigative reporting involves public records, court documents, government databases, and open source intelligence about public events. All source material is publicly available. Our verification methodology is documented in our Methodology section.

Changes¶
If this policy ever changes, we will update this page with the new date. Given our principles above, the only likely changes would be adding new third-party platforms as we expand distribution.
