What We Don't Accept¶
Do Not Send
- Private or classified information
- Stolen data or leaked documents from non-public sources
- Requests to identify, locate, or track individuals
- Requests from law enforcement agencies
- Requests to remove factual documentation
Response Time¶
We review all messages. Response times vary based on operational capacity. Priority is given to:
- Reports of deaths or serious violence not in our database
- Corrections to published information
- Source material for active investigations
- Media inquiries on deadline
Security Notes¶
- Our email is hosted in Germany under German privacy law (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz)
- Posteo accepts anonymous payment and does not log IP addresses
- For sensitive communications, we can arrange PGP encryption (request our public key)
- Do not send us anything that could endanger yourself or others
